Pharmacological properties

The combined drug has a local anesthetic, antiseptic, astringent and drying effect.

Indications for use

Hemorrhoids, anal fissures. MR Anestizol is used to treat rectal fissures and all types of hemorrhoids, including: fissures and fistulas in the rectum; diagnosed thrombosed hemorrhoids; hemorrhoids with and without complications; unspecified hemorrhoids; external hemorrhoids; unspecified internal and external thrombosed hemorrhoids. According to many reviews of this drug, in order to achieve the maximum effect, MR Anestizol is used with other antihemorrhoidal drugs.

Dosage and administration

Rectally. Suppositories are freed from contour packaging, having previously cut the film along the suppository contour with scissors, they are inserted, if possible, deep into the rectum after a cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel release. Adults and children over 12 years of age, 1 suppository 1-2 times a day.

Side effects

Burning in the anus, laxative effect, allergic reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, children’s age (up to 12 years).

Drug interactions

The drug interaction of the drug MR Anestizol is not described.

Special Note

Pregnancy and lactation.

Prescribing MR Anestizol during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the baby and fetus.

Release form

Rectal suppositories, 5 suppositories each in blister packs of PVC/PE film. 2 blisters per box, together with instructions for use in a cardboard box.

Storage conditions 

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25ºС.

Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life 

3 years. Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
